This is our concept of the School Magazine on the Net. Important details of the School Magazine are posted on this Web Site in these sections.This is also a record of our school history of the events and activities of our students and teachers. Students of the past may send in their pictures if they wish to appear in these pages.

The History of Chan Wa

Penubuhan sekolah Chan Wa mengharungi pelbagai rintangan dan pengalaman pahit tetapi dengan wujudnya ketabahan hati, pandangan jauh dalam memajukan anak-anak maka penubuhan sekolah ini menjadi kenyataan.
Sejarah Chan Wa dibahagikan kepada 4 peringkat iaitu peringkat penubuhan awal (1918-1941), perkembangan selepas Perang Dunia II (1946-1957), perkembangan selepas kemerdekaan dan 1957-1989, perkembangan tahun 1990an dari 1990-1999.
Penubuhan sekolah ini bermula dengan usaha membina sekolah rendab dahulu dan diikuti kemudiannya sekolah menengah. Nama sekolah Chan Wa berasal dan perkataan Chan Wa yang bermaksud Hiduplah masyarakat Cina, kembanglah masyarakat Cina dan hidup dengan penuh semangat yang membara'.
